"Wow! What can we say? Nothing prepared us for just how spectacular The Gecko is. It's such a beautiful, relaxing place - the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. Most importantly of all, a big shout out to Simon and Marianne, who were on hand at all times to offer great help and advice and make this such a smooth and relaxing week. "From the moment we arrived to the perfect welcome of complimentary local food and wine we knew we made a great choice. The Gecko and in particular the owner Simon's service is magnificent! The attention to detail is impressive and all the comforts (and more) are provided to ensure you will make many memories for life. It is hard to beat the setting and the stunning views of The Gecko so you will be forgiven for simply 'staying in'. We’re so sad to leave that we’re already planning a return visit. The Gecko is fantastic, combining five star accommodation with every practical need well thought out and catered for. We’ve whiled away many hours reading by the pool and pottering around the gardens. The view down the valley to the sea is beautiful as the light changes. We love cooking so have made the most of the excellent kitchen and barbecue, helped by great local produce, Marianne’s fantastic olive oil, and the abundance of herbs in the garden.
